I updated the first post with the test mule car .. and doesn't look good to me.

I think Jaguar owns Land Rover now.

I like the outside of the concept, the interiors all always overboard and unuseable, and the one on the flatbed doesn't look bad. That test mule at the track...blah.

The test mule on the flatbed is the new 2011 Exploder .. the one on the track is the actual LRX test mule.

When I saw an article confirming the new LRX it showed the pic of the concept .. I mistook it for the actual production model.

The very idea that Land Rover is testing that thing on the Ring is ridiculous.

What ever happened to vehicles like the D90? Why can't Land Rover make a new one of those?

Concept looks cool but it won't translate to a cool production vehicle. This concept debuted nearly a year ago If my memory serves me correct. The leather looks phenom in the photos! What will be interesting in regards to LR is where they go from here. The current full size RR was developed under BMW and based on the E53 x5, extended chassis etc. They have yet to develop anything all new, only modifying the current line up with new lights and tech. I sure wish they would stick to their roots and make off road vehicles like the defender etc ...which is no longer available to the US market.
