Lakers oust Suns, get rematch with Celts (AP)

Kobe Bryant is again showing the world what postseason greatness can be. Bryant and his Los Angeles Lakers are in the NBA finals for the third straight season after he wrapped up a magnificent Western Conference finals with a 37-point performance in a series-clinching 111-103 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

Here comes Kobe Bryant's chance against the team that beat him two years ago. He's far from the only Lakers great to fall short against Boston. Boston beat Los Angeles in the 2008 finals, with a dominant defense that made life miserable for Bryant, that season's MVP.

Go lakers! Kobe is truly a great player to watch, he always makes the game interesting. Did anyone catch the game last night, when he took a heavily contested midrange shot and drained it as usual. It was right at the end of the game, sort of nail in the coffin. Right after making it alvin gentry just smiled and kobe walked by and tapped him on the side.
