apple is not allowing any corporate discounts just like the iPads.

Through my corporate plan, I did not get a discount on the iPhone purchase. My discount is on the unlimited data plan (which I get for $24 per month instead of $30 per month). The plans for the rest of my family's phone are discounted too.

I wonder if you need to jailbreak it first. AT&T has unlocked two phones for me when I upgraded to new models. The most recent was a Motorola RAZR. It's possible, but not likely, that they might unlock an iPhone upon request.

EDIT: I had a typo. I had said that "Apple had unlocked two phones..."
