Congrats! It looks to be a great camera and you got one of the best SDHC cards. Happy cow shooting! ;)

Agreed, 30mb per sec was the best I could find for the price.

Thanks, Kev!

Now I just need to find a case for it!

My Lumix LX5 has arrived

I decided to take a few pictures this morning to test the differences between my Canon SD550, and the new Panny Lumix LX5. These were shot at ~6:15 a.m. with low light and NO flash. Both using their respective AUTO modes. In addition, no tripod was used. I think the pics speak for themselves :D

AWESOME, SG!!!

I cannot freaking wait to get mine!

uh.. nobody shoots in auto mode because the sensors are all different.. a better comparison would be shoot at a certain iso.

Uh, I do :D
I'm not a pro, that's why I got a "point and shoot", because I like to "point and shoot" ;)

I'll put both in manual mode later and try to set both to the same settings for an apples to apples comparison :)

Apples to Apples comparison

Both cameras shooting with the same settings: ISO 100, 1/25, F2.8. Also used a tripod and no flash.

What a big difference. The P&S cameras have gotten very good. I need a new P&S to replace my very old Canon SD350. :D
