Lol!

That's great. 1mm - I guess that could be considered a fair price in this marketplace. LMAO.

Side Note: why do people insist on waiting in line for hours to purchase a stupid game system? I guess I'm the only American that doesn't understand this. Has our society actually become so materialistic we are willing to wait in the cold and punch the guy next to us to get a game system? A game system that in a year will be cheaper and much more abundant not to mention have more accessories and games offered for it.

This crap makes no sense...guess I was just raised differently.

:iagree: It's just not worth it. Waiting hours upon hours for a console with so little games out.

I agree 100%, it's the same mentality that makes camera equipment geeks have to upgrade their $1500 DSLR whenever a new body comes out, or the car guy who pays $30,000 over sticker to be the first one to have the new C6Z06. It's incredible....

I completely agree with you. Hell even if you wait just past Xmas the price will drop; not even a year. Plus these things are buggy and crash. Linkage about that...

Furthermore, the only reason why right now it will be a better gaming machine than a high-end PC is because it uses a triple-core processor from IBM. Each UltraSparc is clocked at 1.2GHZ I think. It is strange how it's a triple-core, as opposed to a dual or quad core, as per the base 2 extension commonly used in computer sciences.

Oh well, better keep your PCs, wait till February for ATI's R580-based video card, and then whoop both XBox and nVidia 7800GTX arses!

All the sellers are just tryin to earn a profit while the buyers are the true video gamers that have no choice but to buy one at the ridiculus prices. If you have a love for something, it wouldn't be too hard to pay a premium for it. It can be with anything, a game system, a car or whatever. This whole society is based on supply and demand. And we all know how that works. We have all paid a premium for something that really wasn't worth it; for example concessions at the movies or amusement park...

I can understand enjoying something you love and purchasing it at a higher value then what it is really worth, but at no time have I stood in line for hours or felt physical violence towards someone over the purchase of a new object.

(BTW, I haven't been to a movie theatre in 3 years and haven't been to an amusement park in 20) :)

No, you're not the only one. I couldn't agree more.
