Excellent parking---not!

I went to the local grocery just before dark tonight. I parked next to one of the handicapped spaces, and was amazed to see that whomever parked the boat in that spot chose to use the steel signpost as his signal to stop.

LOL, judging by the scuff marks on the bumper, it's not the first time
|
And judging from the type and year of the car the people's children are probably retired... I'd be scared of them in traffic, especially if I'm in front of them at a red light.

Don't they have eye exams for those over 70 when they renew their license in FL?
|
It's hard to tell from the photo, does that car have a handicap parking permit or not?
Most of the handicap parking spots around here have signs on rubber or spring mounts. Mind you, with the parking blocks there in that spot you'd think that would do the trick. |

Ah, Looks like ~75% of the parking jobs I see
when we are in FL... I can hardly wait to get my 10 yr old Lincoln, when I am a lil' older. Don't see a HDCP tag, either...one of the most misused/abused DMV items going. Here in NC one can get script from their doc for a fookin hangnail, stop at the NC DMV, and cop a tag. The really handicapped people orbit the mall lots like comets, looking for a spot. BR, mD |

It absolutely confounds me that people will BS a handicap permit or take one from somebody SO THEY CAN DRIVE TO CLASS 500 FEET AWAY. Absolute Trash. Trash, Trash, Trash. Lazy. Fastest way for anybody who is mobile to lose all respect from me. |
