That would be true if our X's (Xes?) had a "instant MPG" like some cars...however, ours do not. I have no idea how this happened.....and it hasn't changed in another 1K miles I put on it, including famous NYC traffic, etc....:dunno:

One big plus is that you can ride in the HOV lane with certain Hybrids.

My driving is mostly highway so the advantage of a Hybrid is limited.

I will have hit the 200K mark in my '01 by the endo of the year.

10k on our '89 7 Series.
50k on our '88 5 Series.
