X Rolls Over 80k Miles...

I realize that is paltry compared to Wally's, and others' mileage here on this Board...but, we were rolling down the frost heaves and truck ruts of I-81 south today,
in the CopState, aka VA, when it turned, so I took a quick pic.

We were motoring back to the NC Mtn house, from a 1600+ mile trip to NJ to see the Kidz, and the X ran like a fookin top.

After 9+ years the '01 3.0 remains fun, enjoyable and sometimes amazing. :D

awwww, now that's cute. Your X is just a baby....

I'm rolling to 110K by years end....

Dammit I want to be retired .

Be well mD ;)

I too have noticed way too many truck-induced potholes and ruts on many of Virginia's interstates. VDOT has done some work on I-64 this summer. The governor pledges a lot more paving next season, after they managed to find money that was just literally lying around unused

An indy shop mechanic once told me on my X3 "just 98k? It's just broken in!". No doubt the older BMWs will last quite awhile if maintained and driven with some care.

MD hope we all live to see 200,000 plus on the old X.

AzN when do you finish with school and the metric system?

Finished school back in May, have been job searching ever since, Also preparing for the GMAT in a couple weeks for grad school apps, if the job search doesn't work out.

The metric system ain't going anywhere.
