Pictures from Ralph Lauren Cars at MFA in Boston

Hello,

today we went to the Ralph Lauren Car show at the MFA in Boston.
It is quite a collection with some very cool cars, if you plan to visit the
show plan to arrive early as tickets are usually sold out at 4.30pm :(

I took 200+ pictures and you can find an album version at
http://www.janixworld.com/galleries/...Boston%202005/

If you are interested in a particular picture let me know and I can
send you the 7 Megapixel version (prints easily on A3 paper)

Enjoy,

Jan

Incredible! I love to 300SL Gullwing, the 550 Spyder and the 959. Complete pieces of art.

Thanks Jan. Those are some great pictures and the cars are amazing. I love those old Ferraris. They are so gorgeous and are literally pieces of art; every line, every curve, every piece.

Great pics, amazing cars! Those are true automotive works of art... just wow! I thought 959s weren't legal in the US :dunno:

JMH, Outstanding photos and album!
I read a piece lately, where Lauren raved on about cars; loves to drive himself around in a hot car, on nice weekends. A car nut--not jes'a collector. Thanks for that sensational album!

They are not federalized for street use but there is a small company in Northern California that has over a dozen 959's that they are trying to get legalized.

This is one that I saw at the LA Auto Show this January. They are so cool.

Excellent shot, Jan - thanks for sharing them with us. Although I wish I could have been there to see them in person, this is certainly the next best thing

Beautiful pics, Jan, and thanks for posting them! I was going to go down there two weeks ago but something came up so I didn't have the chance.. Now I know what I missed!

The show goes until July 3rd Joel so you have plenty of time.

Excellent pictures Jan -- looks like you were there on a "hoods up" evening - FYI to people who go, they open the hoods I think only 1x a month in the late afternoon/evening. The dates are listed on the MFA site (www.mfa.org)

I will probably go through the show again with my camera at an off time so I can get a few pics. The place is soooo crowded on the weekend so if you are going to see it try to go another time if possible. (I can get in often because I have a MFA ID  )

Awesome pics... especially love the 550 spyder.. what a classic... as for the 959... look how cars and technology have evolved into... we have quite a few productions cars that will out handle and out gun a "supercar"
