Free CARFAX for iPhone/iPod users until Mar 1, 2011
 

The free EveryCarListed app has free CARFAXs available until March 1st.

If you're shopping for a used car (or want to download your own car's CARFAX), now's a good time to do it.

EDIT: Naz24 posted that if you look a VIN on a dealer's lot, that your info is sent to that dealer. So you probably do NOT want enter your real phone number into the app. Also, you may want to use a "secondary" email address.

damn! i just realized my car has to have been a dealer demo, because its first owner wasnt registered until 12k miles, after it was sold at an auction in tennessee.

If you want the printout, just email the CARFAX link to your PC/Mac (after opening in Safari on iOS). Then open the link there and print it out...

Just took advantage of this offer today. Had to install it on my mother's iPhone but it was well worth it.

Found out the Carfax to our E53, E46 and our lemon'd E70. Our older BMW's have really comprehensive write ups which I'm proud of. Turns out somebody bought our E70 and are still servicing it at the same dealership, Morristown BMW. :lmao: No point doing it for our E71 X6 since that is so new.

May have been a dealer mgrs car...sometimes they do that and just slap on the dealer plates.

Oh gosh, I should've known how much spam this app would create. If you look up a vin of a car that's for sale, they send your info to that dealer.. Can't wait to tell some sales guy that I am not interested in buying his e39 M5.

I have received an email from this app provider (for my car that I looked up) but I just deleted it.

Gmail, Google Voice and a really wierd spelling of my name.

It probably didn't help me looking at a car to have an inquiry coming in, but whatever.
