"128 is NOT reckless driving......"
|
wow i wish i had this judge in my state :) well not really but it just sounds like he let the guy go quite easy... but then again in nebraska.. is that a highly populated state, i wouldnt be surprised if it was just a flat road goin straight.
|
ha, i got my license cut up on the spot for going 132 in a 55 in IL.
the cop didnt even say reckless, he said, you probably want to call your parents (i was 17) and i got my license supended for a year. never had a ticket before, wish i lived in nebraska |
lucky son of a gun.

Well... maybe, just maybe... he's right? :dunno:
As he stated, there were no passengers, he did not veer off into the other lane, there were no other cars on the road. Yes, he was speeding. But, heck, people do 128 on the autobahn every day (I know I did), and that's not called "reckless driving." The kid IS lucky to have had that judge, though. Juan |

This guy was on a motocycle! 128 on a motorcycle's got to feel pretty fast. And he got off for $300, dirt cheap. One of my friends got caught going 78 in a 45 zone on a bridge, cost him $1000 plus suspension of license for 30 days!

No, he isn't legislating from the bench, he is just interpreting the law. And the law says 128 isn't reckless. It's so obvious, maybe you need a refresher course.... ;)
