Verizon RAZR
Anyone know how to assign a ringer to a contact? I'm able to pick a different ringer, but it doesn't save. Any ideas? :dunno:
|
?
How do you like the phone? It's in the verizon stores on Monday - picking one up at that time. You order over the internet - or have a contact in a store?

Overall I like the phone. It does what I want it to do, like make phone calls. Some people complain that it doesn't have a memory card slot, etc....
You should take a trip down to your local store, verizon screwed up so many online orders that they released it in the corporate stores on Thursday or Friday. If your into bluetooth stuff, full OBEX is supported even though verizon says it isn't. Lots of information here: http://www.howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=51 |

Select a contact > Edit > Highlite Ringer ID > Press change > Choose ringerstyle > Press select > Choose Done This works for me, good luck! |

Really weird. I go to contacts, select the contact, edit, highlight the ringtone, set, picked the ringtone, ok, then save. It says contact saved. I go back and it changes back to default ringer.

I sure hope Verizon isn't forcing the phone to only assign ringtones downloaded from them  |

EDIT: For whatever reason, I deleted the contact, readded and was now able to save the ringer. Weird. Thanks for all the suggestions. |
I've had the razor for about 4 months and im on my 3rd one. They have all been replaced by motorola but what a pain... They also seem to eat through sim cards...
