There are a few of us that have the stealth one. I personally like it, you have the option to display on the dash display ot the NAV screen (if you have). I also like the fact that the display on the V1 itslf is always dark. I give it :2thumbs:

Thank you guys for your input but one question ive read the guids but so there is no full way of making the whole system hidden right the v1 is still visible since it needs to be able to detect.hmmm, cuz i dont know where i read it but there was a radar detector that had sensors and you had to wire them in different areas of the car to creat a 360 deg detection net around your car and it had a main controller taht mounted some wher in the center area. but anyway so whatst the best place if i did install it and used teh stealth 1 so the v1 would be near the visor right?

The Passport SRX and the K40 Calibre are both systems that have sensors at the front and rear of the car with the control unit inside. There may be others, but those are the 2 that I remember off hand. I had the Passport in another car and it worked quite well. As for mounting the S1/V1 combo, I have my S1 in the are by the homelink buttons/overhead compartment, etc. with the V1 mounted to the windshield in the space between the visor and overhead.

somewhere on here is someone who hardwired the V1 into the rear view mirror, and the arrows had been etched into the mirror itself. It seems like that would be a cool way to hid the V1 and use the stealth one to get the integration you're looking for. The company's website is around somewhere, but they never respond to emails.

here it is:

Mobile Innovations in Lodi, NJ - http://www.miautodesign.com/

in their gallery is an M3 with the V1 arrows and alerts etched into the rearview mirror.
