Steve Jobs's resignation letter
After 14 years as Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs resigned that post on Wednesday and was replaced by Tim Cook, who previously was the company's Chief Operating Officer. Jobs, in turn, was elected as chairman of Apple's board of directors.

I think this has been expected for years. BTW, Cook was reared in my area, so it is nice that an Alabama guy is now running one of the premier companies in the USA.
