Thank you, everyone. I learned much yesterday, and have much for which to thank our God today.

I taught a SWAT medic class this past week, ending Wed. Several of my instructors, and one of my students, are good friends, and I was blessed with being able to spend time with them. My students disappointed me in some ways, but led to me having to be more honest with myself regarding how hard and fast I was pushing them. I am going to revise the curriculum for that class, and spend more time on fundamentals. In the end, it will be a positive thing, so I should be thankful for that.

A couple of my instructors knew that yesterday was my birthday. Near the end of class, the students and instructors gathered around me, and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. Corny, but it really meant a lot.

When I got home, my family literally met me at the door, wishing me Happy Birthday, as well.

Today, we are spending time together as a family, just low-key, relaxing time. It is good.
