No Ipod here...we listened to the radio and CDs on our long trip. Time was running short, pre-trip, and I did not need the chase to get one, get tunes, find ear buds, etc.

I have listened to mp3 on my kids' deals, and while it is nice, it ain't CD even to these ears. In the CEO's '10 Hyundai Tuck, I have loaded some thumb drives with CD based tunes from my computer hard drive, and those sound very good through her car's sound system.

I simply haven't felt compelled to get one.

What size Pad do you have?

You could just get a I Phone, it will hold all your music and does almost everything the Pad does except for screen size.

Don't have a Pad/Tablet...my 5 yr old cell phone is carried/used a couple dozen times per year, but not for "Hi Honey, I'm at Walmart. What are you doing?".

The CEO's Moto Droid served us well on our 2 month road trip, and I have yet to succumb to the need for constant or continual access to mp3 'tunes' in my everyday life. Nor do I feel compelled to sit and pour over a Pad/tablet while watching occasional TV, reading, lying down, chasing the ball, driving, or...

Not anti-tech, not anti- gizmos, not a Luddite, but everyone has their own bag, and needs.
