Long Range view of our Mtn
 

Taken from 4.1 miles "down below" where our mtn road meets the highway. First pic is a tad "closer" than what the eye would see. 2nd pic is cropped & zoomed to grainey pixels:

We are the house on right. Lil' 3400 sq ft folly on the mtn.

I need a decent, reasonable priced dig cam w/ true wide and med. telephoto range in one lens. This Canon S50 has been fun to learn on, and has 5 megs, but Very limited optical focal length range.

great pics, they really help me visualize the mtn drive you're always referring to. absolutely beautiful setting! this is good motivation for us younguns to bust our ass.
