UPDATE see reply page 3-Help Porsche Boxter, Estate is selling

Hi gang I need your opinion. There is a family in my neighborhood that has a Porsche Boxter convertible that mom owned but hardly ever drove. She was the second owner and she bought it from a local person. It was serviced at the local Porsche dealer by both owners.

1998 Porsche Boxter Conv.
46,000 miles
$4500
a few minor dents
garage kept

Should I grab it and work out the details later. or what do you think. I'm pretty excited, My wife may put the cobash on this but, I don't know. She hates anything that appears impulsive. she suffers from paralysis by analysis. and right now she is earning a larger part of the household income and she is always worried about money. We can use a 4th car. we have 4 drivers and only 3 cars.

+1

Never owned a Porsche but for that price I would jump on it. Just give it a good inspection and test drive.

Good luck!

+2, great price. Grab that thing and show us pics.

I bit girly for my taste, at least for those years. The newer ones look much better, but still a great price. Buy it, fix it, sell it, make money.

+3 even it not drive able...It's still Worth the look.

Sounds like a great deal, I'd at least check it out (or PM me the info and I'll send one of our Porsche guys over to PA to look at her!)

Buy it and can always part it out if needed...

+4, but I would walk in expecting to throw $4k at it to bring it near current serviced, you thot an X was expensive to care for? ;)
(personally concerned that NO FAMILY MEMBER wants to give the estate that pittance for a known vehicle?)
