Merry Christmas from Cuba
 

Hey all, I decided I'd sign on to the net from Varadero, Cuba. These people are nuts - it is $13 per hour. And they only armed me with an ISDN 64Kb. It takes about a minute for each page to load. :tsk:

This is perhaps late, but I wish all Merry Christmas, and happy holidays to those people who celebrate their own different important event at this time. :)

It is 10:45AM here (9:45AM Eastern Time), and it is currently 21*C, partly cloudy. The sea is blue indeed and very calm today. We have a green flag on the beach right now. :) The hotel had put on a wonderful Cabaret show with lots of semi-exposed ladies last night. :wow: They even served turkey as part of the dinner special. I was informed, funny enough, that these Turkeys were flown in from Canada on one of yesterday's charter flights since they did not have local turkeys.

I have not seen any BMWs yet. :tsk: The best car I have seen was a 1998 Mercedes E200 CDI, which was a taxi. My digicam's flash card stopped working yesterday for an unknown reason. But I found this guy who might be persuaded to sell me his card. :rofl:

How do you define addiction? $13 Dollars per hour to use a slow internet connection -- and you say, "I don't care. I must log on to X5World!" (Of course, here I am at my in-laws' using their even slower dial-up connection at 10:00 AM on Christmas morning. I'm not that much better!) :D

Somebody told me the other day that a doctor makes US$30 a month in Cuba. Is that true? And the dollar goes too far in Cuba. Have a good trip!

Nice Xmas day here in Naples: 72, breezy and theCEO and walked our usual nine. Weird with green grass and palm trees instead of snow/wind back on the mtn.

Forget about the X5 world dude.. Go have fun with those hot girls at the beach. I have been there twice.. man let me tell you..I felt in love with this girl. I asked her to be my girlfriend the first day I met her. Just buy a bottle of Rum and you are set. Girls there are happy if you feed them.. its sad but true. I bought lunch for 4 for 3 dlls. When I left i was almost crying to leave my girlfriend there. I ended up giving them all my soaps and shampoo, all these stuff its very expensive there. Anyway.. I got excited!! sorry. Just got out there and enjoy PARADISE!!!
