I need to get Adobe Acrobat X Pro along with 3 additional licenses.

Where is the best place? Straight from Adobe or like an Office Depot, etc?

Not sure if this is what you had in mind but Here's a possibility.

Adobe allows you to install and activate your purchased software onto two computers. I have the above-mentioned software installed and activated on two computers on a home network. I am able to 'run' Dreamweaver, Photoshop or Acrobat on both computers at the same time without any licensing problems.

To install and activate your Adobe software on a third computer, you must first 'de-activate' the software on one of the other two computers. Make sure if you ever throw out or give away an old computer, that you first de-activate the Adobe software. Otherwise, you will lose one of your two activations.

Amazon is not an official Adobe software reseller.

I prefer BH Photovideo among their online resellers and they have good prices too. They also have a friendly voice to talk to. ;)

Actually Adobe does allow their software to be sold by Amazon. The adobe PHOTOSHOP.COM BLOG says Make sure your software is "sold by Amazon.com" (circled in red) and not from Amazon Marketplace (area designated with red "X" in the lower right).
No need to pay full price if a volumn dealer has a better price.
