One of The Giants in Science Fiction writing, along with A.C. Clarke, Issac Asimov, et al...even if one is not a Sci-Fi fan, Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Dandelion Wine, Something Wicked This Way Comes, etc, fortunately still get read even by the vid game/texting young gen.

Best line I read about him was that he said, “I found a typewriter in the back of the library at UCLA. It cost 10 cents for a half hour. I spent nine days at that typewriter and it cost me $9.80 to write Fahrenheit 451.”

Helluva writer, imo.
