What a Beautiful Car

Found a place to park in front of a restaurant and this lady says.
"What a beautiful car" I said "Why thank you".
No Mods and the X is still attracting attention.....

She was probably enamored with you, or R! ;)

They are fineazz cars, esp when one considers the 12+ year old design!

R wasn't with me and I had washed the X the day before,
so no doubt it was the X glistening in the sun, standing
proud......;)

That's a testament to the beauty of that design. Many people thought my '02 was only a few years old.

I feel that E53 era cars, such as the E39, E38 and maybe the E46 still have a timeless design.

My new car is a Jet Black 2000 E39 5 series. I still have people going, "Who's car is that?" all the time. It's very flattering knowing my 13 year old (which is nearly as old as me!), $10k car still attracts attention.

I just listened to one of my old exhaust videos. I can't believe I PAID to go back to stock! I want to put the cans back on first and keep the stock resonators. If I want more sound again, then the x-pipe will go on.

But first, I still need to do thrust arm bushings. Going to be another fun all-day DIY!
