Thought I'd check in and make sure the old RF gang is still alive and kicking, or at least kicking.

I was there way back when. I've been gone from here for a long, long time - lots happening in the personal life.

But, now I've decided to become a junior mechanic, so I'm here quite a bit these days asking for advice.

Good to see your names again, ylw, UCrew and of course, our friendly "moderator"/Inner Circle member . Yes it seems we too have moved past the X5, but the memories will always remain. I've moved on to applying to grad schools and working but came across this page on an old computer I was tossing out. Looking forward to flipping back a few dozen pages and seeing the goldmine in this lounge.

I was pretty new to RF around the time of mass exodus to X5World. I still check in once in a while, even though I was without an X5 for the last several years, but just got an E70 recently and am happy to have an X5 back in the stable. :cool:

Still here, from March 2005. The X5 is gone but we have an X3 now.

Ah, the old Road Fly 'bored'...back then one/some of us were getting sent to detention as frequently as the screw up kids in the lunchroom, lol!

Still here, still have the '01 3.0.

Wow...RF? What is that...lol. I can't remembered the last time I was on there...but it does bring back memories. It would be interesting to see a poll on those of us who are still are hanging onto their e53s.

Wow, you chaps go back a long way, I had my first X5 E53 3.0d in 2003, did not join X5World until 2007 when I upgraded to a X5 E70, actually I would have joined in 2003 if I had known there was a forum.
