California Proposes Tax On Driving
|
That's just one example of our fine legislators. How about the multi-billion dollar high speed rail starting between Bakersfield and Fresno. Where are Bakersfield and Fresno, you ask? Why do we need 220 mph trains between those two points? Who is going to ride it, you wonder? It doesn't matter. What's $68,000,000,000? Governor Jerry Brown thinks it'll be as cool as the Lionel train set he had as a kid. :tsk:

Between bakersfield and Fresno!!! The thought of it splits my sides...

Hey bmwbmwuser. This is where you find them.
Another example of legislators gone wild is this. Girlfriend is a thief and believes herself. She plans to run for disgraced former Supervisor Nadia Lockyer's seat on the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. What she said is more than amusing it's just plain laughable. Assemblywoman Mary Hayashi, D-Hayward, said she believes voters will value her policy experience over her police record -- a recent shoplifting conviction -- as she seeks a seat in November on the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. In other words people are stupid and will over look the fact that she's a thief........ You know what people really are that gullible. Exclusive: Mary Hayashi discusses shoplifting conviction, run for Board of Supervisors - Inside Bay Area |
