Turkey Day Ride, etc...
7 Attachment(s)
As I have raved lately, this Autumn has been the best weather here on the Mtn, in the 11 years we have lived here. So yesterday I did my usual Turkey Day ride on one of the scoots, up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very different look up there this time of year, as almost all the leaves are down, and being Thanksgiving morning, it was pretty empty. Weather was coolish to pleasant, light wind and except for some scary azz frost/ice in some of the north facing shadowed corners, :yikes: it was a fab 3+ hr ride.
And, a couple of turkey dindin pics; had a wonderful 1989 Caymus SS cab with turkey dinner...wish I had a case of that left. Hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and don't spend too much dough this weekend. ;) BR, mD |

Glad to hear you enjoyed the autumn ride. Way past riding weather here as we've been under snow since the last week of October. Autumn lasted about 4 weeks for us.
I hope the 89 Caymus kept well in your cellar and wasn't past it's prime. |
Glad you & V had a good one, mD. A nice day here too... getting colder over the next few days then warming up. Out to the links on Wednesday.

Next time cover the whole turkey in bacon. Trust me, best bird you will grill.
Yea I can't ride below 50f. Every time I attempted, felt like my nutz were going to fall off. Anyway, looks like a blast. |
Looks like a great ride!

vistas though! Lol. Beautiful. |
