Creaks and groans(32 views) (34 thread views) Message: When idling, my 01X5 creaks pretty badly, kinda like there is metal grinding on metal. It is very annoying.

I've got to go in for my oil service soon...is this something that BMW can fix? Or am I stuck with this damn noise for the rest of my time with this car?

Hahahaha...hey MD another vehicle suggestion: Why not go with a used X5? You can get 'em CPO'd with a 6/100k warranty.

I don't disagree. And, the couple stlrs in the area are absofookinlutely dreaming on the prices they want for used.
Course, they won't give much for one's trade in; thus, their lots are full of used. Have never been a used car fan, but thx for the suggestion. BR,md
