[ANTI-RANT]

Just want to say, I feel great today.

• Got up this morning and watched the inauguration proceedings. Thought it we a great show (I know some won't like it because they are in opposition).
• Saw Lincoln - and was in awe of Daniel Day Lewis (again).
• Went for a 5 mile walk - the weather was fabulous.
• While walking, ran into a friend I have been in love with for a long time. Found out she feels the same.
• Had a great meal - actually just a cheese steak. But anytime you can get a really good cheese steak outside the Phily metro area, you are doing quite well.

Yea, it's a mixed feeling, but having cared for her for ten years I am in a OK place. Finding out that she has the same feeling knocked me for a little loop, but I will get back to equilibrium - especially once I am back on the road (some of you know that I spend a lot of time away from home).

Four star General?

As in send the husband off to the front? :whistle: Not in my nature. Honor must be upheld. At this point the best I can have is the knowledge that there is another person in the world who cares. And that is good enough.

lol... no, i wasn't THAT evil, to send off someone to killed in the line of duty - i meant the Petraeus-general, he wasn't stopped by the fact his biographer was married.. or, that he was married himself...

but, sometimes the feeling that someone out there cares for you is good enough...
