New Digital Camera...and a few other random things...
I got a new digital camera tonight...my old one passed away just after 2006 celebrations--somewhere around 2:15am...I think I broke it when I was trying to change memory cards...but it's all just a blurrrrrr.... Anyway...I upgraded from my Canon PowerShot A70 to a Canon PowerShot SD400 Digital Elph (whatever all that means). All I know is that it is very tiny and can fit in my pocket...YAY!
Tomorrow I'm getting Danica all cleaned up and ready for her photoshoot! (Remember, it's just X5 Danica, not Danica Patrick...sorry boys.) So I'll FINALLY have pictures posted tomorrow of my ride :) Also, I was driving home from work. Just got off the beltway and was at a stop light. A white Escalade pulls up next to me...all tricked out. Driver thinks he's the shiznik...inching forward every few seconds...waiting to leave me in the dust...he kept looking over at me...taunting me I guess...the light was about to change to green...I looked over at him...wiggled my fingers in a wave and left his ass in the dust. LOL what a fool he was :bustingup . He tried so hard, but had no chance :) I'm waiting for my chance with the Cayenne.... |
Funny thing about that - when I had my X5 (4.4 SP), it seemed that Escalades wanted to race me all the time. I don't know what they were thinking.
We now have an Escalade ESV as the family truckster. My wife drives it mostly, I rarely do. After a summer vacation where I drove, it was too slow, and made me nuts. I did a few perf upgrades on it, and it responds much better now. Even if it could hang with an X5, I can't imagine pushing a vehicle like that. It's a great family truckster, but it can't handle like an X5. As for the Cayenne - be careful what you wish for. |
Canon digital cameras are great. SD400 was rated best by David Pogue of NY Times, when it was released. Lets see pics of Danica.
As long as its not Cayenne turbo you should be fine. You need a 4.8 then. |

My sister was unfortunate enough to ride in the back of a Cayenne the other night. Horrible backseat...said she was carsick after going just a few blocks!

Cayenne are not nice looking, nor the Infiniti. And punching it getting ont he fwy here when getting squeezed on on ramp is oh so fun.
