90,000...

A not big mileage number compared to many posters here, but our '01 X rolled over 90k Miles on our annual Oct run north to see DaKidz in NJ.
Crappy flash pic from my pocket cam... 2001 X continues to run right down the fookin road, and its remarkable handling capabilities allowed us, (the CEO driving), to miss a 20 ft extension ladder that lifted off a pos pickup truck in the middle of I-81, at 75+ mph, about 50 yards in front of our faces. And, a pic of the CEO & I chasing the ball today with our Son & SIL, in south Joisey... Congratulations MD! Proof that these cars can be dead reliable.
Cheers Jeff |
Nice! Envious that you're still able to hit the fairways!!
|
I especially love how your were driving @ 75mph while taking the shot! |
Congrats, mD. Mine hit 32k last week and will turn 10 next week.
Keep on truckin' |
awesome stuff mD, congrats on the 90k, missing the "flying debris", and great looking family you got there!

And, hit 91,000 miles a few days later, rolling home to the Mtn house from NJ, yesterday.
We have ripped 3,000 miles on the ol'X, in two short road trips, in the past month. Runs like a fookin top! BR, mD |
It's just broken in compared to a loaner I got from my Indie yesterday, which was an '02 X5 that got 225K+ miles on it!
Forgot how high revs the 5-spd manual gets at cruising speed. The 5-spd auto only revs at about 3K at 80mph for comparison. |
Hokey smokes, I've got 152k on mine, and hoping it goes a long while more.
