looking for a new toy car
 

I'm in the market for a new personal car for myself right now I have my eyes on a e36 m3, audi a6 4.2 or maybe a rx7. for the e36 m3 I would probably turbo it and put some coilovers, for the a6 I would do a 6 speed swap and a rs6 conversion and the rx7 I would probably have it more of a stanced/widebody car my budget is around 10k but no more than 15k. so what do u guys think? I'm also open to suggestions

Before I purchased my Z I was in the market for an E36. While searching for verts, Z's kept popping up. So my wife and I went out to a few dealerships to compare the two. It was pretty much a no brainer after looking at the two. You could look at MZ3's if your after a little more power or if verts are not your cup of tea then I would sugest looking at the M coupe!

I'm not a fan of the z3's I'm looking to be different like a ls swapped 5series or maybe a smart car with a hayabusa engine or a Mini Cooper with a K20/k24

How about an e36 with an LS swap:)

I was definitely thinking about that too but I'm a turbo person at heart and I know nothing about the LS motor

e36 M3 would be the funnest out of the three in my opinion. I still miss my old Techno Violet e36 to this day.

I'm still deciding I have until the winter to make up my mind

the turbo m3 and rs6 are at the top

Also thinking about a rsx type-s or a 5/6 speed x5

Z32TT ;), RX7 is 2nd choice.

How about an 01+ M roadster?

I'm not a fan of the z3's and a 300zx is a nice but not into them

They're street legal.

I put over 100k miles in 8yrs on the '94 Viper DD (sig pic), even with all the FL rain. Zipper soft plastic side windows too.

Still out of my price range I prefer to stay around the 10k mark but I still have until the winter to decide

Complete Mk4 Cobra kit is $19,990. Not bad coin for a bad ass toy. No chance of inheriting someone elses problem car.

A4/6's aren't toys, but are you wanting to stance it like that? If so, get either Audi over the M3.

My crazy go fast days are over I've dumped too much money into cars and wasn't able to drive them every day and if I did go out I would be worrying if someone is gonna steal it and when I say toy car I mean something that is mine and can so whatever I want to it

If I found a great m3 at a good price I would turbo it and a set of wheels and coilovers maybe paint that's it or any e36 with a great body and do a ls swap

If I found an a6 4.2 great engine and price I would do a rs6 conversion and a 6 speed swap
