Starlight headliner retrofit/mod???

Not that I am considering, or planning on doing something like that... but, in reading some tech specs for the Rolls Royce Wraith, I see that it has available starlight headliner option, and the RR Individual can even make up your Zodiac sign with the fiber optics, if you desire so (and pay for it!!)...

Has anyone here play with something like that? maybe did a retrofit into something other than a car?

the original headliner part number in RealOEM is 51447401012

Rolls will do anything you can dream up....so long as you pay for it!! Iirc it was a client in the UAE that started the starlit headliner w/ zodiac signs when he ordered it in a phantom.

It's not terribly complex stuff to work with, just extremely labor intensive (even more so if you start doing real constellations!) . I've seen the stuff utilized in a similar fashion for countertops.

i bet that guy spent a lot of time on his back, gazing at the headliner... i just wonder if his view was obstructed by somebody's long hair in his face... lol...
