View from Caesar's Palace new Augustus Tower
 

Part of my birthday celeb, wife planned a last minute surprise Vegas trip the day after LA Auto show. Got lunch at Bobby Flay's Mesa Gril (great margaritas) and then reserved dinner @ Il Mulino (also from New York City)---great service and Italian food.

She convinced the front desk to upgrade us from the Palace Tower to the new Augustus Tower since it was my birthday! :thumbup:
The Augustus Tower is competing with all the other casino resort hotels because now they are coming with flat LCD/Plasma TVs and huge rooms, etc.

We had a view of the Vegas Strip and Bellagio Water Fountain show.

Again, still learning how to use the Canon 10D.

Yes, it was just neat sitting in our room and watching the show every 15 minutes from our own hotel room. I think we were the same distance from the water show as the Bellagio lakefront room.

I think our room was facing Flamingo Rd.

Very nice...Happy bday. Mine was the 9th, and I just got back from Vegas on Wednesday...we stayed at The Venetian, also very nice!
