To those that know and appreciate such things, I say 'the X5'...
In general company, I intersperse 'car' and 'truck' to suit the circumstances...
Between me and my wife, she has a name ;)

Excellent, but how do you pronounce X in Portuguese?. I can do it in castellano, is it close or the same? Or, do you say EX-cinco, what we used to call Spanglish (estamos good) :)

Reminds me of all the Z28 and ZX300 jokes: to us they were zed cars, to the Americans I understand that they were zee cars.

My X5 is called a truck (apologies to Juan), but only to distinguish it from the two cars in the garage beside it. If there was an Expedition there, it would be the car. Everything is relative...

Rosie...for "Rosie the Riveter"

She's my workhorse.... as much as a workhorse that I need. I've hauled 9 bags of concrete in the cargo, as much Mulch as it could hold, numerous plants/vegs for the garden, a boat-load (not sure how much that is...) of pavestones for a retaining wall, and well a lot of other misc. 'stuff'. When I'm at Home Depot all the contractor guys look at me like I'm crazy when I pull the BMW up to the loading area...there all like your gonna' put that in there???? Like she deserves special treatment or something...just because it's a BMW :)

Just teasing 'she' does.... But she still has to 'pay her way' in the family daily chores.

Isn't it interesting how 'anthropomorphic' we are w/ our vehicles???

taa-ta
