looking for advice of which to buy
This may seem ridiculous to some but Im struggling with this decision.
2 2012 X6's both black on black with every option. 1 is 35i and located close enough for a quick flight and 5 hour drive home. Has 1 year and 15k miles left on primary warranty then 2yr CPO. 2nd is X6M 45k miles and 11 months left on original warranty no CPO - 1500 miles away so will ship. M is 10k more than 35i - I owned a 2009 X6 5.0 and just sold it - loved the car and I do like the way the 35i handles (wife has 35i X5 2012) so would be happy with that one but the question is - is M worth 10k and less warranty?? I know I will be stoked on the power but its not like I get to race it and I hear that maintenance is costly. Any advice is welcome - I know that many hate the X6 but I love it!! |
dude!!!
M is not a car - it is a lifestyle... it will cost more, give you more headaches... makes no financial sense at all.. but it is still - M going from 5.0 to 3.5... if you are fine with it, it makes total financial sense (as much a bmw can make financial sense at all)... I went from 4.6iS to 4.8iS... just could not part with E53, so to say... lol... |
that may be the smartest thing said by any person - ever

YOLO!!! lol

Life is too short- go for the M..... oh wait, LIFE IS TOO SHORT- you have other things to do!-go for the 6 cylinder

why do you need two SUVs?!?! get a real M...and M5 or M6
;) |
Try other M vehicles
I agree with and will echo TerminatorX5's eloquent statement about 'M' as a lifestyle and attitude, not practicality or economy....
Since your wife already has a X5 SAV, why not consider what ard is suggesting.... Test drive a BMW M4, M5 and M6 and see what it is like really fun rear-wheel driving M cars. Good luck AVB-AMG |
So what'd ya do????
