Got a 600watts amp with 2 subwofer from my old Montero and wanna put this on a X52002, my good friend havent installed on a BMW yet and this store Audio Express inReno, Nevada wants $250 just to install the speakers. Wow thats way too mkuch. its just the Wires and putting it on. How much you think will cost me, do i need a plug on my stock system came with the bmw in order to have a extra output for the amp? Anyone know in Reno Nevada good Radio installer? thanks in advance

Do i cut this wires or do i need a wire harness for it. This is a great site. From Ipod to Oilchange and everythng else. Thanks again. I did saw my amp but i havent open it all the way so i dont know if its a 12 or 15 pins. Its a BMW X5 3.0 2002 model again. I have a DVD player on it too

Nope...no need to cut any wires. You just needs some of these "wire tap-in squeeze connectors" => http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search. One connector for each wire you want to tap...very simple procedure. You'll probably end up needing 5 since there are about 5 wires that you want to tap into your OEM amp (4 for speaker inputs: L/R +/- and 1 for remote turn-on).

The article (link provided in my previous post) should answer your question about where to get the power and remote +12v from for your sub amp. Always use a voltmeter and ohmmeter to double check all wirings before making any connections though.

I meant "... to get the power and remote +12v FOR for your sub amp".

Got the Sub and Amp working, Have a question where to tap the remote +12v regarding to the real Stereo system. I did found a remote +12v and it turns of when i pull my key, but i cant find the remote +12v for the Stereo system. I will get the pix later to share it. Cool
