iPod + nav + CD changer

Is it possible to have all these 3 options working together - Nav 16:9 + CD changer + iPod????

p.s. I have 4,6is (2002)

Yes, it is possible. I just installed an IceLink Plus in my X5 with NAV and DSP. What you need is the Source Selector, which is a switch that allow you to select between your CD changer and IPOD. Ask Tom from Dension about it. Although, I don't see the point of keeping the CD changer after installing the 60 GB Video Ipod, I would like to keep my options open. The switch works flawlessly. Hope this helps.

Actually I thought the same - I have 30GB iPod, why whould I need CD changer, but from other side, sometimes it can be useful! :)

Anyway, thanks for this info, just one more question, do they (Dension) ship their items abroad? I mean to Europe???

X5 Sport 01-20-2006 08:34 AM

Yes Tom will ship to europe Well he Shipped My Source Selector I am well pleased with it,because last week when my ice link broke just flicked the switch and still got my CD player working. You might have to buy a extra lead of Tom as the ice links we get in the UK are not the same as the ones in the States so check that with Tom when you are ordering the Source selector.
