Retrofitting DSP Subwoofer in E53 X5?

Hi all,

My 2006 X5 has the standard sound system which to be honest is pretty rubbish. I like my car looking OEM, so I was thinking of retrofitting the standard DSP subwoofer in the rear. I just want a little more bass as the sound is very tinny.

Is it possible to run the two woofers from a monoblock amp with a LOC?

I was given the DSP subwoofer for free from a friend so it would be cool if I could utilise it.

I dont know what LOC stands for but I've got the standard system as well and added the factory sub from off of ebay.

I just cut them loose from the factory wiring on the sub box and wired them in series and ran them to a small amp I have tucked into the driver side rear cover area.

I'm just waiting until the two tiny subs finally blow before I cut in a hole a for a single 8" sub. they cant take a lot of power.
