In-Dash Headunit with DSP Audiosystem?

Hi!
Its me again :-)
Does somebody know if it is possible to use a In-Dash Headunit (or Monitor-DVD Player etc.) with the original BMW DSP System?

My Problem, i have a simple Busines CD Headunit with DSP System and want to use a bazel and a in-dash mp3 player instead, but i did not find any adapters.

I don't see how the DSP amp would know how to behave.

If the X5 is 2003 or later it would be missing the digital cable, but without the control head I suspect the DSP amp would not even turn on correctly...

But let us know... :)
