Recommended Speakers?

ok so i've got a 10" jl audo sub and a jl audio amp...i dont know if it's just my ears but the music sounds distorted so im guessing speakers will clarify the sound quality a bit more....which brands/sizes would you recommend??

I'm changing my speakers to Boston.

I like the Boston and Focals, but ultimately chose MBs.

Please give us a full review after the change. I had Boston in my previous car and loved it sooo much that I was thinking about doing the same for the X. By the way, which model are you looking at?

This is after the addition of the sub? Does the sub sound distorted? Or are you just complaining about the OEM speakers in general?

Your complaint is indeed vague so I won't make a recommendation. What seems to be the problem, officer?

6.5 is the woofer size. I recommend the Dynaudio System 240 GT or the Morel Hybrid Integra, or the DLS Iridium 6.2. At a lower price point the DLS UP6 whip anything else in the $400-450 MSRP bracket. Alpine X 177 components aren't bad either.

For mid-fi, Boston is OK - better than Infinity, Polk, or many others - but you can get much better.
