Archos AV420

Today I fitted my Archos AV420 with a hacked hard disk 100 G , I used my AV in to connect the front screen and the AV out connected to back screens , I been modifying my cables and I am working now to hid them. ill send pics when I can send them in Post Thread .

That's a very novel install. I just saw an Archos unit on sale the other day & never would have considered using it as a media hub in the car. THe nice thing is that you can carry your content with you as needed. No disks or extra players etc. Very nice concept.
Would something like this possibly work with OEM headrest screens? I assume they'd be able to work with the AV out, even though there's no drive attached, but would want to be sure before pursuing it (wait- my mod list is growing fast!) Best, M |

I connected the archos av 420 to the av input and then I selected av channel from tv but nothing happened.Do I need a special cable?Can you send me the instrunctions to do it?
