my radio head unit is acting like a drunk, here is my problem I retrofitted a bluetooth kit on my 01 x5, the system is working good but after a little trick each time i start the car, before turning the radio on I have to dial a number then I have to turn the radio on then I will get both the phone sound and the radio sound, then if I turned the radio power off then on at this point I can hear the phone sound alone.

If i turn the radio on first, there will be no phone audion output.

I changed the ulf(i have the 7th generation now) and changed the SES jumper, still the same thing as above.

I looked at the radio connection, I could not find the plug X13598, ok if I do not have it I should hear no sound at all, but I have sund out put from the phone, I thought maybe I have a bad radio head unit, I got a new head unit now no sound out put at all, I put back the old unit the system is working as I explained above.

any help please, do I need to rewire the phone system again????
