Question about the X3 stock stereo system.
 

I was cleaning my carpets in the x3 last night and I noticed a grille on the floor on each side under the seats. Is this where the woofers are for the stereo system? I had never noticed it before. Or am I wrong.

No, those are woofers for the 6.5 "subs" that many Bangle cars have under the seats.

That's why you have such small door speakers (4"/100mm).

After this install this week in an X3, we will probably start offering an upgrade kit with new front door mids and tweets, a drop in sub enclosure with a long-throw 8", and an amp.

Since you like to mod, I thought I'd mention it :)

Any ideas on what you may be asking for that set-up? Just curious
