GAL (speed sensitive volume) w/DSP

I just read in one of the tech docs that GAL is not a feature on vehicles with DSP. Is this really the case? I hate that it cannot be turned off, even in the service menu, only set to 1. So on vehicles with DSP, the volume does not increase with the speed of the vehicle?

not true...mine works fine and I've been able to adjust it....Phil
