Icelink pbs

This is driving me nuts guys. :explode:
A few months ago my ipod started skipping like a CD when I hit a pothole or bump on the road, but it occured so rarely that I never worried about it. Lately though it's gotten worse, even the slighest little road imperfection will set it off, and then everything just sounds horrible. I can't even begin to describe the sound, like all my speakers are blown out. When I turn the car off, the system reset and works fine till the next road bump. This doesn't happen when i'm listening to the radio or the cassette, only when the Ipod is connected. Someone helps?

Sounds like a possible bad connection. Have you checked all of the wiring?

Will your iPod do this if you rattle it about when you are listening to headphones?

No at all, the ipod is fine when I have the headphones on. I also have a bose Idock and the Ipod is just perfect.

The funny thing is once I checked the wiring and unplugged the DSP thingy that came with the Icelink, it stopped doing that for a few days but then it starts again...

I would place blame on the wiring as well, check your connections to make sure no pins are being pushed out and that everything is secure.
