Hi im looking for quality sound, I have a 2006 X5 4.4i w/nav and 6 cd changer. I bought a casette player adaptor but quality is horrible and nothing like my old Ipod your Bmw. What should i do, its a lease but i want to connect my Ipod.

You want non-evasive installation - I got the Denison IceLink and had BSW install it - I doubt that's what you want on a lease - best info I can give is to google ipod car installs, then take that knowledge down to your local mod shop and see what they say - hope you find a suitable solution - hopefully someone will kick in their setup
BTW - the BSW install w/speakers,sub-woofer,& gives fantastic sound |
You definitely need the ice>Link Plus! Feel free to contact me with any apecific questions you might have on the kits.

I believe your radio supports the optional Aux input. You could install the Aux input pretty inexpensively and easily. You would not have the integrated control, but the sound would be perfect.

I have the BMW Ipod link, why wouldn't you want it on a lease? It's not changing anything on the sav.

it doesn't work with navigation on X5s, i dont know? I want something simple, the lease is 3 years I want something i can put in then uninstall it at the end. Does anyone know how much the aux input is, and how much is the install?
I really wanted to have steering wheel controls, but it sounds like alot of work and will it void the warranty on the audio system 2006 X5 4.4i Sport Nav 2007 530i Sport Nav 2004 745li |
also what about Sat radio compalibilty will it work w/ nav and 6 cd changer.
