Question about 6-Disc Rear CD Player

Before I start digging in the attic to try and find it. Does anyone know if the rear 6-Disc CD player from my 2002 530 would work with my new 2006 X5. It looks as though it has the room for it. It would be great if it would work!

It should work as long as you don't have Sirius radio.
