Arc Audio amp and sub?
 

Hey everyone-

So I found a VERY reputable shop up here in the Bay Area to do my subwoofer installation.

They're recommmending an Arc Audio amp and sub.

$1017 with installation.

Thoughts?

The gear is good, can't comment on the price without having a clue on what you are getting and how it is to be installed, though.

If you only add the sub and you don't upgrade the mids and tweets, then I know a Trojan's 4.8is that will spank yours in sound quality. I've profiled it here on this forum. Step up : )

i already have the 10 spkr MB Quart upgrade all around :)

Like The Dude said, really depends on what specific products they're using and how they intend to install it. But Arc is good stuff.

I'd be fascinated to hear how you got 10 MB Quarts into that car. I wouldn't actually want to hear them, but how...

I think he means our BSW Stage 1 with 8 MB Quart speakers and 2 BSW Midranges.

Yes, I was referring to the Stage I with 8 speakers plus the 2 BSW mids, correct.

Anyway, if I remember correctly, the models for the ArcAudio stuff are:

Amp: KAR 400.2
Sub: KAR 12D4

I'm pretty sure those are the models.
