CD-charger which reads MP3-CD
 

Hello,

I own a 330 Cabrio (E46 - 04) with a CD-Charger connected te a MK IV Wide Screen Nav/audio System.

My questions :

1. I'm looking for a CD-Charger wich is MP3 compatible that can be connected through the existing wiring/connectors. Does it exist?
2. If the answer is YES, will my audio system displays the ID3's ?

Hey Cab, Are we talkin CD CHANGER?? A charger would never be MP3 compatible.

Yes. The latest factory OEM changer will play MP3s and WMA files.
However if you want to display the ID3 tags you would need to swap out the BM53/4 Radio in the trunk with a model manufactured from 9.2005

While the MP3 HUs will not display ID3 text, the best (and more economical) solution would be to use the DICE iPod integration kit:
