The items listed in post #5 for NAV-equipped vehicles, there are completely integrated kits for non-NAV such as XM Direct:

XM Direct Satellite Radio Package for BMW & Mini

If you are willing to be a Guinea-pig then the Intravee http://www.intravention.co.uk supports the Alpine DAB tuner in Europe. There is an Alpine XM tuner (TUA-T020XM) that externally looks almost identical to the DAB and may use the same, or at least very similar commands. I'm sure it would be possible to get it working, it's just a question of how easy (or difficult) it would be.

So it runs through the head unit and the XM is in the back, right?

Contact Simon through the 'Contact Us' option on the Web site, make sure to include all the details of what you want to do, type of car, head unit etc.
