ANyone else have this issue??

It could be engine noise. Does the noise change with engine RPM or turning on/off the headlights?

I will investigate on my way home today.

Brad...

I'm with you so far on the integration. I would have left the CD player in the car if it would have played MP3s. I have been talking with Tom @ EAS and I am going to go up there to get logged, but I think I will buy the VSM at that point and give him back the DICE if I can' 100% resolve these issues.

I now am reading that there is some bluetooth patch, but it has not been suggested to me. Tom, could there be a fix for me at least for the bluetooth issue?

Wouldn't you know it, I couldn't hear it yesterday. Oh well, next time I do hear it, I will pay attention to what is on and what I am doing.

OK, I heard it on the way home last night - noticed it with the sound turned up and under heavy exceleration, so it most definitely is engine noise.

Tom - any ideas on how to reduce this??

The DICE could be picking up interference from other devices in the vehicle. You can try relocating the wire to see if the noise is diminished or if you cannot find the source of the noise - a ground loop isolator must be used.

Some BMWs are more sensitive to engine noise than others. Here is a link to the version we offer on the website:

Tom - at what point would that filter install into the DICE wiring??

Right where the fuse is on the 3-pin adapter of the DICE wiring harness.
